Sorry to have missed out on the past few days as I was away on holidays and did not realise that it was hard and expensive to get internet in a foreign country.It’s gonna a really short one, since I’m still in the holiday mood.

So what have happened in the last few days; Sol Campbell has signed for Arsenal again in a move for Wenger to secure a back-up central defender till the end of the season, Aaron Ramsey and Denilson will miss the game at Reebok due to their respective injuries, last but not least the return of inspirational captain, Cesc Fabregas.

That will leave us with no preferred choice in central midfield and especially the defensive role. I think Wenger may go with something like this;

Almunia

Sagna—Gallas—Vermaelen—Traore

Fabregas—Diaby—Merida

Nasri—Eduardo—Arshavin

Of the choices available, Abou Diaby would be the best option to play in the Song role. Though, the Frenchman is more inclined towards the attacking sense, he can probably do a decent job in the middle. We’ve seen him tracking back several times during the Everton game to nick the ball away and this is the kind of attributes that will serve him well for the Bolton game. Diaby will need to curb his attacking instincts and allow Fabregas that particular job.

Gael Clichy is also back but probably be a bit short to feature a full game for Arsenal. Expect to see him on the bench for this one and probably back on the pitch for the return fixture at the Grove. No surprise to see him slot straight back in once fully fit. Traore have improved since replacing Kieran Gibbs but have not shown enough to keep the place for himself.

That’s all I can muster for now. Enjoy the game wherever you’re watching.
