First Goal
Fullback bombing on and supporting the attack, something we’ve missed the tail-end of last year. Good on Gibbs to get his first Premier League goal.

Second Goal
Another brilliant pass from Song. Walcott took it well and finished in a very composed manner. He used the ball well and was a very decent outlet for us today.

Third Goal
Was just saying after the freekick before that Arteta has only cleared the wall once or twice with his freekicks attempts this season. Then he did that. Second in the list of goal of the season for me (after the RvP Everton one). Deserved it for his overall performance. We need a song for Arteta

Djourou came in for the injured Koscielny and did well. That the other 4 around him remained consistent did help him in some ways. Looked much more assured in the middle and being beside Vermaelen. Szczesny was brave with the crosses but had little else to do. Song and Arteta screened brilliantly while Gervinho did plenty of work as well.

Again got the nod in the middle and that’s good. Sometimes we see Wenger taking a player out of the line-up to stick with a preferred starter but Rosicky has deserved every minute that he has started. Relishing the playmaker role, he doesn’t shirk the defensive duties as well.

Team Performance
Good to see we are continuing with the pressing mentality. Very quickly we won the ball back and helped pin Villa in their own half. Didn’t stop until the final whistle. Takes a lot of effort and only truly works when everyone does it. Overall we didn’t come out all guns blazing but we did enough and deserves the final scoreline. On a real momentum here but the most important thing is to take advantage of the earlier result at Stamford Bridge. That we did.
